Today I went to CompUSA after work to get a bag for my computer, and I saw yet another weird scene, matched perhaps only by my encounter with the African queen. I walked in and before me stood an Indian or Native American woman dressed in this princess-ish kinda dress and a shawl looking closely at a shiny new digital camera. Next to her stood a middle-aged, white, Buddhist nun with a shaved head and the brown habit...plus a Versace handbag......errrrrrr Sunday, July 28

wow haven't blogged in a while. Most of this month I've just been workin hard for the monay...then spending nights chatting w/ old and new friends alike. I went on a buddy list cleanup to delete screennames from 7th and 8th grade of people who never use those screennames again, so now I have a little room to add Penn friends, but I wonder what'll help the day I run out of room again....oi don't want to think about it now... last night I went to the swing dance night thing w/ some friends and had a lot of fun. we actually looked like we knew what we were doing, I didn't really, but I did better leading than I thought =D Too bad it was the last one, but we'll try to find other stuff to do later....shoulda brought my camera too, darn =( O well memories are great. Today we went to Chantry to do a little picnic, I'll upload those pictures later guys. The sandwich turned out to be really soggy cus we put too much mayo, and never, ever put too much Dijon mustard or else your sandwich will end up tasting like a wad of wasabi. Then this group of BBQers next to us were leaving and gave us 2 platefuls of BBQ chicken, how nice! there are still nice people left in the world... I'll probably spend the rest of the night wasting time and go back to work tomorrow.... one more update, I'm leaving for Philly on the 27th by myself, horray! imagine what it'll be like when I walk out of the airport, suitcases in hand, alone in a city of strangers 3000 miles from anywhere/anyone familiar....*inspirational music, camera pan out*....dun dun dun... ok too dramatic |
