Still haven't done anything, my to-do list is growing cancerously...and I should be worried. But I'm not, this can't be good. Tomorrow I guess I'll be going to Swarthmore for quiz bowl competition instead of going to the Penn/Harvard game for Ivy League Championship. ESPN College GameDay will be there, everyone's gonna be there, we might win and tear down the goal post like we did in 87, but I won't be there. Sigh...I figured my commitments should come before my personal entertainment...and I can always go to another game later...but what if this is the one time we tear down the goal post and toss it into the river and I miss it? o well, choices bear consequences. Tomorrow we leave philly at 8, so it'll be the first time since coming to college that I wake up before 8AM...I can't imagine how I pulled it off for 12 years...I must have been more hardworking back then. Adam came over to see if I wanted to go see Harry potter w/ him and someone in his hall, I declined cus izy told me Angela and Issac are coming next next Wednesday to see it here, so I guess I'll wait for them. Old friends over new ones! I'm glad that Adam came though, people here are turning out to be better than I initially thought, but there are still some people that I wish I don't have to see or run into at times =P Had a emergency mgmt 100 meeting, feel asleep during the meeting. Everyone's pretty scared now that the deadline's so close so now they're all participating, my work here is done....I can finally draw back into my cocoon and follow along. hehe currently downloading K-19, the movie that I had to walk out of midway back home because SOMEONE couldn't take the intensity and ended up shutting her ears with her hands and curling up into a little ball in the theater....sigh...not mentioning names... gonna do some more time wasting now, wish me luck...

I got absolutely no school work done today. I'm proud of myself for that. I finally got my schedule settled for next semester, they are: BPUB 250 - Managerial Economics LGST101 - Introduction to Law and Legal Process MATH 240 - Calculus III PHYS 151 - Physics E/M PHIL 009 - Writing About Philosophy and Moral Issues I'm actually kind of excited for this schedule, it's an actual liberal arts college schedule! I mean, if you count econ and law as liberal arts...at least nothing to do w/ mangement and finance.... I whined to Asher about about M&T's inability to take liberal arts classes, I suggested that they make it a mandatory 5 year program and shove some more liberal arts classes in the curriculum so we can actually say we went to college, not some top ranked trade school. Got econ midterm back, pretty happy w/ score so I went to center city w/ iz and ange. They shopped in Old Navy while I went to KMart to buy a floor lamp, so now my room is finally bright enough to work in...not that I can get any work done in my room. After we came back we decided we didn't want dining hall food so we went to Chilli's and I had my first baby back rib, YUM!!!! IT'S REAL FOOD! we had a really great time talking about everything. I really enjoyed today. It's how I imagined a good day at college would be: personal chat w/ awesome professor, walk around glittering downtown streets, hang out and laugh with friends, and be ok w/ school progress. Hope more of these days come by =) After I came back I set up the lamp and spent an hour cleaning up my room, so now it's really clean and bright. While I was cleaning I also decided to call my mom cus I feel like I've been neglecting them, talked for an hour, she was really happy that I wanted to talk for so long, so it was pretty good =) Angela and Alison are coming for Thanksgiving, me and iz are planning out a great 2 day stay for them and we're all really excited for it! Turns out I did a lot better than I expected. Shouldn't have told people though, now they've pledged to have no more sympathy for me the next time I whine =( I forgot to blog this the other day. I was brushing my teeth at 3AM, and this guy came into the bathroom and went into the stall. Then he made this weird noise/groan thing, so I couldn't help but look at the bottom of the door to the stall...and I couldn't see his feet! The only theory I came up was that he's prolly an international student that's never used a sit-down toilet before and can only....release...when he's squatting on the toilet seat w/ his feet on the rims....yea...so, that was my weird 3AM bathroom anecdote =) Had dinner w/ some woodland people today, learned a lot about jewish history =P

I got raped by my math midterm today. Everyone did, I saw a girl screaming (high pitched, loud) out of frustration as the professor came around to collect the test. Everyone did so well on the last midterm that the professor got embarassed and made sure this one had nothing to do with what we studied....anyways, its over now, an I'll be expecting my C soon. My dinner, since I needed all the time to cram, consisted a cup of black coffee and a day old donut, I'm a true college student now =) Got a postcard from Stephanie, that makes two postcards so far (another one from Carolyn), now I remember sending out a lot more postcards than I received....hmmmm what are those people doing? don't they know receiving postcard means you're supposed to send one too? j/k Alison, Angela, and Kelvin are all coming down for thanksgiving! it'll be great! The day Alison gets into the Philly is the day of my MGMT 100 final presentation as well as my physics midterm....I bet that'll be a fun day....o well, too much thinking. It's now 3AM and I'm gonna go sleep. g'nite y'all |
