First final down...I don't think I did that horribly, but I don't think I did so hot either, but it's over =) I've been on such a weird schedule today. I stayed up til 4:30AM cramming, then got up at 8:30 to cram some more, had a brunch of orange juice and donut, then trotted over to the museum (final in a museum? only at penn baby) for my math final. Came back around 3:40 and got linner, dunch? anyways, I ate and so now it feels really late, but it's only 6...I'll probably go camp out at the library till 11, then come back, run a bit in the '28 gym, then cram some more. Sleeping in tomorrow tho... ok that's that one more thing that my hallmate wants everyone to know calculus took a shit on Chintan Monday, December 9

Today was the last day of classes. I woke up around 8 even though I usually get up at 9. I looked at my clock, saw 8 and somehow thought the clock was wrong, so I got up, geared up (lace boots, wrap scarf, all the good stuff), and left, then after I woke up for reals while walking, I realized it WAS 8 and I left an hour early for nothing. It was so friggin cold outside...I've never been out that early. I swear my nose would have fallen off had I not held on to it with my hand occasionaly to keep some warmth going through it. Went (read: sleep) through the usual slew of classes and finished around 6. I went to Fresh Grocer to buy some ammunition for finals such as candy, granola bars, milk, etc. for the long nights ahead. I come back to the quad and find a throng of people outside upper quad gate. Apparently a pipe broke somewhere in the quad, someone pulled the alarm, and they weren't letting anyone into the quad. I froze in the cold for about 10 minutes, after which they finally let me in. Now I'm thawing. I'll take a nap then go camp out at the library later. I thought writing about the stuff that happened would make today pretty interesting; but now that I've written it, I've come to realize how boring it was. Sigh...tengo una vida aburrida.

NYT article on california fiscal crisis "That's a hole so deep and so vast that even if we fired every single person on the state payroll — every park ranger, every college professor and every Highway Patrol officer — we would still be more than $6 billion short," said the Assembly speaker, Herb J. Wesson Jr., a Democrat. what happened? Just cus I left the kids don't know what to do? |
